Meet self-professed procrasti-baker Sally Bird, whose Instagram, salad_vs_food, is a sugarfest of scattered uni living, positive food-love and not making friends with salad.
Sally is a 20-year-old Brisbane cake lover and baking enthusiast with an obvious addiction to sugar. Like a lot of 20-year-olds, she is currently suffering the rollercoaster of university. In her own words: I pretty much fell into the whole baking thing. Though I wanted to do fashion as my school elective in my first year of high school, I ended up getting put in the cooking class, and what do you know, it turns out I wasn’t half-bad at it. I won a couple of baking competitions and from there my sugar addition pretty much led the rest of the way. I’ve also always had a keen interest in photography so combining these two interests has worked out pretty well for me.
